We were approached by a new Cornish independent gelato producer to develop a strategy, name and design language for their new product line and hospitality offering based in Portscatho on the Roseland Peninsula.
Moving away from competitors typical ‘dairy farm’ clichés, a black and white palette was developed to build on Cornish identity but adding a contemporary literal twist complemented with product colour being stirred-in for flavour definition.
A tone of voice whipped-up to connect with a younger more brand conscious market, flavoured with notes of irresistible naughtiness.
In a mad flurry (with an incredibly short deadline), a whistestop visit with briefing and lunch… the beach ball was rolling. Seven days later, we had the name registered, design proposal approved and rollout being scheduled.
What a sweet sugar rush this project has been, more please!
